Weeping a Petroleum Lubricant-- An upcoming film screening and one-night activation of works by artist David Correa, curated by Catherine Camargo. Through symbolic objects and explorative live performances, Correa challenges traditional perceptions of labor and the human form. The activation will feature remnants and artifacts from these past performances, with Correa's debut short film, Weeping a Petroleum Lubricant, serving as the centerpiece. The film depicts the struggle and transformation of "the Boy" character—a figure embodying the tension between survival and exploitation.
